Spruce Timber For Sale
Spruce is one of the most economically important coniferous trees in Europe, where it is cultivated for paper and its lumber, known as deal or white wood.
This species’ wood is both flexible and long-lasting. It’s good for wooden ladders, oars, roofing beams, and paper pulp because of its relative lightness, lengthy length, and straightness. Non-structural applications such as flooring and cladding, low-cost furniture, joinery, and general carpentry are all frequent uses for construction grades. Norway spruce, a premium tone wood treasured by luthiers for its acoustic qualities, is the preferred material for acoustic guitar soundboards. Spruce Timber For Sale
The sapwood of the spruce is white to pale yellow in color, while the heartwood is sometimes stained with brown and reddish-brown tones. The darker, denser summerwood leaves a distinct impression on the growth rings. Spruce grain is relatively fine and usually straight. The knots are grouped together.
